White, L.R. Siebert, John W. Bennett, Hollis Edens, Julian Strickland, S.V.
Sanford, Mrs. L.J. King |
Various
correspondence, including inventory of Emory campus and budget. Prominent is
a proposal that EJC and GSWC students take courses at each others' schools.
This was turned down until WWII. GSWC asked to rent or use parts of the
closed campus, requests were denied. Mention made of Regents' scrapbook,
5/30/40. |

Kathleen and
Azaire Geathers are daughters of a school laundry woman. Retha Thomson's
father worked at the college. Reade writes to Morris Brown, Payne College
and Fort Valley State regarding these students' expenses at college. There
seems to be a fund at the college to make loans for these students. |
