She becomes pregnant and he leaves, but she decides to keep the baby instead. Section titled "This Day and Age" is typed with editorial notes throughout (26 pages). Also included is a letter from agent to Ms. Daugharty about the story, handwritten notes, first manuscript sent to agent proposing the novel (dated 1997, 18 pages), another manuscript with changes (16 1/2 pages), and a third manuscript of the same section (15 1/2 pages). |
