Powell's annual
report for the year 1917-18. Sections include: general, Smith-Lever
Cooperation, faculty, financial, needs of the college, and visiting
committee report (Wymodausis Club, Mrs. West). Minutes address several
non-routine issues. The college was closed as protection against the
"Spanish influenza," Powell was invited to serve with the Red Cross, and the
Board granted him a 6-month leave of absence. Prof. Wood was named president
pro tem. |
