Powell's annual
report for 1921-22. Sections include: general matters, financial/budget,
faculty affairs, summer school, needs of the college, store, dormitory
number two, and farm. Powell recommends that the college go to a four-year,
bachelor's degree program; Board agrees. He also notes that the financial
depression had a large impact on the number of students, and that the
college needs to offer competitive salaries to interest/retain faculty.
Minutes and Report both mention the death of Captain Tift, trustee, on Feb.
4, 1922. |
