Powell's annual
report for 1923-24. Sections include: general, building programme, faculty
problem (a handicap), faculty personnel/budget, farm, dining department,
building account, summer school and finances/budget. Powell notes continuing
financial difficulties, "acute as usual;" growing pains due to the need for
more buildings; and the dire need for teachers qualified for senior college
level. All original faculty are gone, except for J.F. Wood (dean and prof.
of education) and Ruth Carpenter (prof. and head of art). Minutes contain
"usual" business (funding, construction, faculty). |
