- At the top of the page, there is a map of the Indian territory from the years 1866-1889. Most of Oklahoma was divided into five different tribes. Below that the text continues from the previous page where the Cherokees were made at their leader for giving away tribal land for his monetary benefit. The Indians were continuously forced out of their land and had to keep relocating.
