Description
Talk of the historic sites located in Georiga that relate to Indian history. The Indian mounds are dated as early as the 12th century. The mounds served as ceremonial, cultural, and economic centers. There is a total of seven mounds that vary from the great temple, ceremonial mounds, and burial mounds. There is a museum built over one of the old mounds.
