Oklahoma Cherokees travel to Cherokee North Carolina as part of a joint council meeting between the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma. The Cherokee Nation will participate in the commemoration of the anniversary of the Trail of Tears.
