Description
To be a part of the Cherokee Nation you have to go through Tribal Membership which is determined by members' ancestors on the Dawes Commission Rolls. The event will be held inside the Cherokee Heritage Center, where certificates and name tags with their roll number while also having the chance to take a photo with Principal Chief Wilma Mankiller. The oldest member and the member with the greatest distance traveled will be given a plaque by Chief Mankiller.
