- Photo of Leonard Thomas Jr. from Horton, Kansa is a member of the Kickapoo tribe. He is wearing a traditional grass dancer costume on the Iowa Reservation. Thomas performed during the opening ceremony for a Pow-wow. Indian dancers from five states and several tribes attended to honor the memory of Chief Jim White Cloud who died in 1940.
