- Description
- Iron Eye Cody was an actor and even though he has many stories he could tell about his acting career he chooses to focus on an old legend that has to do with choices. It's a story about a young Indian boy who went away in solitude to prepare for manhood. He climbed up a mountain and encountered a rattlesnake and the rattlesnake tried to convince the boy to pick him up and carry him down to the valley. The boy was reluctant at first and caved in, once he made it down the mountain and released the snake, the rattlesnake bit him. When the boy questioned the rattlesnake, the snake responded," You knew what I was when you picked me up". Iron Eye Cody tells this story to young kids who might be tempted to do drugs.
