Description
Then a skunk came up beside the coyote. The skunk told the coyote that he thought he would have been dead because of all of that water. The coyote agreed with him and then asked if the rabbits and gophers saw him plunging down the water. The skunk said yes, and that the rabbits and gophers thought the coyote was dead. The Coyote came up with a plan to lure the rabbits and gophers to their death. He would pretend to be dead while the skunk got the gophers and rabbits to come closer to the coyote. Once they were close the skunk would spray them with his stink to blind them. Then he and the coyote could eat the animals.
