Description
Redbird Sixkiller was born in the Old Cherokee Nation, which is now the North Western part of Georgia. Gu-O-Tsa a half-breed Cherokee of the Paint Clan married Sixkiller. Sixkiller was a full blodded Cherokee. When he and his family were forced to the West there was a story told that has been passed down through generations. The story was called "A True Romance of the Trail of Tears."
