Description
Joel Ward was a Cherokee Member, his roll was = 15523. He lived in Indian Territory and Oklahoma. He was the only brother to six sisters. He married Myrtle Crance and together they operated a ferry across the Grand River near Strang. They ended up having two sons, one died as a child. They lived in the Strang-Requah area and then on Cherokee Land, they were allotted in the Spavinaw area. (Bullen's Ranch)
