Description
William Silas was born near Maynard, Tennesse. In 1888 he bought a train ticket to Pryor Creek Indian Territory so he could work for his uncle's farm. William's father who remarried moved to Pryor and settled on a farm with their eight children. William ended up marrying Laura and had two children. After some deaths in their family, they decided to sell their farm and move.
