- Stonewall was the third child in his family. His family had just recently moved to the new Cherokee Homeland in Indian Territory. He ended up marrying Alvina Funk. His first home was north of Locust Grove. He ended up having two young daughters and left Northeastern Oklahoma to work in oil fields in Texas. They returned to Oklahoma after the couple had three more children. They settled in Watonga, Blaine County. They once again moved to Texas due to the depression, but once all their kids were grown he and his wife returned to Oaklhoma for the final time.
