"Alfalfa Bill" Murray is a lawyer that was very involved in early Oklahoma politics. He served as the first state legislature's Speaker of the House and as a U.S Representative and also was elected as Oklahoma's governor. He was described as very blunt and effective, even running for presidency at one point.
