- Rev Thomas Rufus Bugby died due to an extended illness. Services were conducted in the Chapel of the Thomas McAfee Funeral Home by the Revs Eddie Bigby, Kenneth Owen and William O. Montgomery. Interment was in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Greenville. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Disease Association.
