- The newsletter begins by announcing the annual meeting in Fort Gibson, OK, on March 30, 1996, along with an agenda for the meeting, details about a catered lunch, a map of Fort Gibson, details of a gift shop, parking, and accommodations, and a thank you to Ms. Marcia Blackard Elliot who helped organize and arrange the meeting and activities. A poem entitled Most Beloved Woman is included, as well as a print of the new logo designed by Mary Adair. The next section, Queries, was made to help those looking for information about someone, which will be published in the newsletter. Details about the Ancestor Fair are also included. An article outlining Thomas Lewis Rider's grave site being located is in the newsletter as well, submitted by Ynema Whiteside. Another article about Nancy Ward herself was written and submitted to the Association by Mr. Hubert G. Holland. Lastly, a page outlining the historical markers located in Adair County is included.
