This newsletter begins by announcing the annual meeting to be held on September 4, 2004 at Tahlequah and a guest speaker will attend named Dr. Brett Riggs. A small summary and minutes of the March meeting is included as well as details about the upcoming board meeting and bus trip. The newsletter details recent events in the community as well as pictures from said events. The newsletter provides condolences to the families of Juanita Starr, Lewis Nelms, Mark Allen Markham, Robert Leo Carlile, William Coleman Pratt M.D., Timothy Meigs Walker (Jr.), Reba Starr Robison. A poem called Matriarch by Allene Gay Kearney is included as well from 1988. Nancy Ward Veterans are also included: Ray G. Lancaster. Scholarship winners are announced in this issue as well and their essays are included: Andrea Michelle Bacher and Amanda Elise Atkinson. A letter from Dorothy Parker Stafford is included as well as a biography of Davis Martin Hill. Research by Emmet Starr is also in this issue.
